While the rankings differ in terms of name and criteria, one dominant factor present in both is the leadership of US and UK universities which are still holding on to their top spots. In some other migration surveys, Calgary and London have emerged as the most desirable places to live, apart from other Canadian cities and Australian cities. With the universities ranking so high, it is not difficult to see why most people are aspiring to stay in countries which have shown remarkable stability as well as steady rise in their academic performance Though experts are reading deep into these surveys and predicting the growth of Asian universities in near future, it seems that the trend of migrating to the West is not going to abate any time soon.
